This convention invites us to return to the orthodox life in Christ, understanding our Faith, Dogma, and Christian Life as the unchanging truth revealed to the Church, through which we come to know Him rightly, as Christ said, “Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15) and “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
As St. Athanasius of Alexandria teaches, the faith of the Church is not new, but firmly rooted in what the Lord gave, the Apostles preached, and the Fathers faithfully preserved, upon this foundation the Church stands. We seek not only knowledge but transformation, walking in Christ, who said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
